- Privacy: the meetings involved in arbitration, mediation or other ADR methods take place in private without a public view and information given at the Centre are kept confidential.
- Cost: the cost involved in all other forms of ADR are usually only a fraction of the cost that would be involved in litigation. At CCE we use mediation to do most of the cases as a first point of call when a case is received.
- Speed: the parties involved in a dispute at CCE have more control over the process and are in a position to ensure that their dispute is dealt with promptly.
- Voluntary: at CCE the parties have control of the process which helps them reach joint decisions without the use of courts or someone imposing decision on you.
- Safe and neutral place: at CCE both parties have the opportunity to meet with an impartial ADR practitioner to work out plans for the future
- Reach your own agreements: Neutrals at CCE do not tell parties what to do but help them look at different options for resolving the issue at hand
